Kitchen Labels free print and tutorial

I have been searching for a tutorial for my kitchen containers for a while. All I could find was vinyl vinyl vinyl blah blah blah (I am just kidding I really really love vinyl I just don't like to pay for vinyl and haven't been able to buy a Silhouette yet {sigh} to do it myself). So you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Cathe's post over at Just Something I made. She has taken all of the hard work out of it for us. She went and found the decal paper site (which I looked it up and they charge about a dollar a sheet. You have to buy a pack of them so the cheapest was a pack of ten at around 11 bucks). And then this wonderful woman has come up with the not just one amazing set of labels but FOUR!!!! Oh and to top it all off a great tutorial on how to use it. Like I said she has taken out the guess work. You are going to love this!!!

Let me start by showing you your options of labels she has created.

This one I must say is my favorite and the one I will be using.

Love the green accent on this!

Okay forget the green these match my red kitchenaid perfectly, perhaps I am changing my mind about which one to use......
And last but not least these cuties.

Okay so now what right??? Go to her site and check out the oh so easy tutorial,  go getcha' some decal paper, call all of your girlfriends together {since you will have so much paper you might as well share the love}, start printing and start loving your kitchen.

oh and Cathe has asked that you not use her labels for resale.

Cute Meal Planner Printable

Time to get organized again now that the kiddos are back in school you say? Well here is a cute quick print from  Seven Thirty Three. It's a meal plan book. I am currently jumping on the meal plan boat, I didn't realize how much time and money it has saved me. The thing I love the most is how the age old question of what's for dinner is solved.

She also offers a matching free recipe book!

Before School Routine Reminder Cards For Kids

Thought I would feature another one of my favorite free printable sites again today, Living Locurto. Not to mention I am trying to get organized before school starts. It's my sons first year in school and yes I am kind of freaking out/ So to help the mornings go a little easier and without me having to repeat myself I thought I'd use a little help from a printable from Living Locurto. She has one for boys and girls. Has a nice vintage kid feel to it. LOVE THAT!

Canning Party Free Printables

Calling ALL CANNERS.....

As a child we had an entire room dedicated to food storage. We had the most deliciouses things in there. Canned blueberry jam, bottles of sweet drinks, apples canned and ready for an amazing apple pie, dry oats etc. There were some not so yummy things too like lentils, molasses, and others you'd look in the jar and didn't even know where to start guessing. I remember helping my mother prepare a lot of this food or going down to the cannery with the big industrial machines and doing some of the larger stuff there.

SO I guess my point being there is so much fun to be had canning and saving a little of the abundance for harder times or just when you feel like making an apple pie quick. The Cottage Industrialist has a great guest post and Free printable from Kristen Magee over at Paper Crave. If you are canning you might as well make it a party and beautiful at the same time right. These beautiful labels could have saved some guess work when I was younger as to what the mystery bottle was.

Don't these just scream summer! Makes me want to sit down and write out recipes for hours (not something I would generally do). This would be so fun to send with a bridal shower invitation. The guests fill them out and bring them to the party for the bride to enjoy.  This is another great design by Creature Comforts

Menu & Grocery List Printable

It seems about this time every year I decide I want to re-organize my life. The gal over at Craft Sew Create has made it just a little easier to do so with these great Weekly Menu Plan and Grocery Shopping list Printables. To go a little green you could frame them and then use a dry-erase marker to fill it in, then just grab a paper towel to wipe it clean. Save on ink and paper!
